About

You know this is written by me so I’m just gonna let you have it:

About my art:
I heard someone say once, “I’ve licked the floor of hell and lived to see another day.”
Pain is inevitable and something we forget can bring us closer.

I am not in this to paint a pretty picture.. Okay, I kinda am, but there’s something deeper we’re all yearning to experience. So many of us carry hurts tucked away in a little box. We only open it when we want to feel something. These deep hurts, joys, pains, questions, and human rights we strongly feel can connect us on a level we never could have imagined.

Childhood trauma, Postpartum Depression, anxiety, and even being Neurodivergent caused my life to be complicated & confusing but also full of joy and love. Illustrating some of our real life experiences help to connect us to one another. I’ve felt seen, heard, validated, and loved and because of my empathetic drawings, people feel seen, heard, validated, and even hopeful knowing they are not alone in their struggle.

About me:
My ADHD allows me to hyper fixate on drawings and paintings. If I am not in my studio, I’m creating something with my two girls for imaginary play or taking things apart and fixing them all around the house while also leaving a trail of evidence. I enjoy solving problems, thrive with deadlines, and want to be a part of social change.

(I am currently looking for representation.)
